Customizing the skins and logo for BMC Helix Innovation Studio applications

As an administrator, you can customize the application UI colors and logo to match with your company's brand colors and theme.

To configure the skins for BMC Helix Innovation Studio applications

  1. Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio and navigate to the Administration tab.
  2. Select Application management > Skinning and branding.

  3. In the right pane, configure the parameters for colors and logo images and save your changes.
    The following table provides a list of available parameters for each area:

To revert the changes to the default values, click Reset to default.

Important

  • The customizations made by the administrator are applied to all the applications after the changes are made.
  • Existing users are not affected by the customizations.
  • The custom skin colors are preserved after the upgrade.

To add logo images

  1. Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio and navigate to the Administration tab. 
  2. Select Application management > Skinning and branding.

  3. In the right pane, in the Images section, upload the logo and click Save.
    You can upload only PNG, JPEG, or SVG images

After you receive a message that the theme is generated, the changes are applied to the logo images.
