Configuring an AWS Catalog connector
Before you begin
Make sure that you have performed the following actions:
Registered an accountin the AWS Cloud.
Created an IAM user and IAM role in the AWS Management Console.
Added permissions for end usersto use services imported from AWS Service Catalog.
To configure the AWS Catalog connector
- Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio.
- Navigate to the Administration tab.
- Select Connectors > AWS Catalog, and click Add new setting.
Enter the values for the following fields:
Field
Description
Connection Id
The unique identifier for the connection; for example, 52214a9c-dd7d-4084-859a-4f44d583fXXX.
name
The name for the connection.
Access key ID
The access key identifier that is used to authenticate your requests.

Secret access key
The secret access key that is used to authenticate your requests.
For more information about the secret access key, see Access keys in the AWS console.Role
The role that has specific permissions to access the AWS Service Catalog.
Region
The region of the AWS Service Catalog instance.
