Backing up and restoring centralized configuration settings

To create a backup

1. In a browser, open the AR System Administration Console, and click System > General > Centralized Configuration Backups.
2. In the AR System Configuration Backup Management form, in the Backup Name field, enter a name for the backup.
3. Click Backup.

If you observe the ARERR 298 error, on the Server Information form, increase the default value set for Maximum Filters for an Operation. For more information, see Setting-performance-and-security-options.

To restore a selected backup

1. In a browser, open the AR System Administration Console, and click System > General > Centralized Configuration Backups.
2. In the AR System Configuration Backup Management form, from the Available Backups section, select the required backup, and click Restore Selected Backup.
   When you restore a selected backup, it replaces all the current configuration settings with the settings from the backup.

To delete a selected backup

1. In a browser, open the AR System Administration Console, and click System > General > Centralized Configuration Backups.
2. In the AR System Configuration Backup Management form, from the Available Backups section, select the required backup, and click Delete SelectedBackup.
