Backing up and restoring centralized configuration settings

To create a backup
- In a browser, open the AR System Administration Console, and click System > General > Centralized Configuration Backups.
- In the AR System Configuration Backup Management form, in the Backup Name field, enter a name for the backup.
- Click Backup.
If you observe the ARERR 298 error, on the Server Information form, increase the default value set for Maximum Filters for an Operation. For more information, see Setting-performance-and-security-options.
To restore a selected backup
- In a browser, open the AR System Administration Console, and click System > General > Centralized Configuration Backups.
- In the AR System Configuration Backup Management form, from the Available Backups section, select the required backup, and click Restore Selected Backup.
When you restore a selected backup, it replaces all the current configuration settings with the settings from the backup.
To delete a selected backup
- In a browser, open the AR System Administration Console, and click System > General > Centralized Configuration Backups.
- In the AR System Configuration Backup Management form, from the Available Backups section, select the required backup, and click Delete SelectedBackup.
