Step Log form


The UDM:StepLog regular form provides a view into the logging history of all step executions.

The following image shows the UDM:StepLog form:

For each log file, the following attributes are returned in the form:

  • Step Log ID—Unique identifier for the step in the log file.
  • Log—Displays the logged string of the step run.
  • Batch ID—Unique identifier for a batch of step log files.
  • Trans ID—Unique identifier for the related transformation.
  • Trans Name—Unique label for the related transformation.
  • Step Name—Unique label for the step.
  • CopyNr—Unique number of copies.
  • Channel ID—Unique identifier for the channel.
  • Lines Read—Displays quantity of lines read.
  • Lines Written—Displays the number of lines written to the repository.
  • Lines Input—Displays the number of lines the file input.
  • Lines Output—Displays the number of lines output by the file.
  • Lines Updated—Displays the number of lines revised.
  • Lines Rejected—Displays the number of lines that were not written, read, or updated.
  • Log Date—Displays month, day, and year the log file was created.
  • Errors—Displays the number of errors resulting from a step execution.
  • Permissions—Permissions for users or roles.
  • Created by—Displays the step log file originator.
  • Modified by—Displays the name of the last user to change the step log file.
  • Create date—Displays the month, day, and year the step log file was developed.
  • Modify date—Displays the month, day, and year the step log file was last changed.
