Creating a graphical representation of process tasks for business workflows

The Process Preview component is available in the Shared Components section of the View designer and displays the task workflow in read-only mode. It is visible only if the following bundles are deployed:

  • Shared Components
  • ITSM Application

As an application business analyst, create a process preview for the business workflows, which is a graphical representation of the tasks that are required to complete the process.

Important

Application business analysts can customize the objects developed in their own applications and that are marked customizable by the administrator. However, they cannot customize the objects developed in com.bmc.arsys in Best Practice Customization mode. For example, objects in core BMC applications, such as Foundation, Approval, and Assignment cannot be customized in Best Practice Customization mode. For more information, see Customization layer
