Copying a process
As an administrator or an application business analyst, you can copy a process within an application or to a different application or library.
You can copy a process in the following ways:
- Copy a process within an application
- Copy a process to another application
To copy a process within an application or library
- Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio.
- Click the application or library from which you want to copy a process.
- Click Processes and select the process that you want to copy.
- Select Copy > Within This Application.
The copied process is displayed in the Process designer UI. - In Name, type a name for the process.
- Modify the process if required and click Save.
To copy a process to another application or library
- Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio.
- Click the application or library from which you want to copy a process.
- Click Processes and select the process that you want to copy.
Select Copy > To Another Application/Library.
The Select Application/Library dialog box is displayed if the process can be copied.
In the Select Application/Library dialog box, select the target application or library where you want to copy the process.
Click Ok.
The copied process is displayed in the Process designer UI.
- In Name, type a name for the process.
- Modify the process if required and click Save.
The process is saved in the target application.
