ITSM Util plug-in configuration

The ITSM Util plug-in is used to set the Knowledge Article field as an input parameter. This plug-in is also used to create or delete an approval filter when a user defines a custom approval chain.

Plug-in type

ITSM Util is a Java-based Filter API plug-in.

 connectivity

The ITSM Util plug-in connects to the  when a workflow executes a filter. This plug-in (ITSMUtil.jar) is installed in the ARInstallationfolder\pluginsvr\itsmutil folder.

Configuration information

The configuration information of the ITSM Util plug-in is available in the AR System Administration: Plugin Server Configuration form.

The AR System Administration: AR System Configuration Generic UI form includes the Server-Plugin-Alias setting that points to the correct plug-in server alias, for example:
Server-Plugin-Alias: REMEDY.ARF.ITSMUtil REMEDY.ARF.ITSMUtil myServer:9999
