Enabling BMC Helix Single Sign-On for Developer Studio


As a  administrator, you can enable  () for the developer who logs in to .

To enable SSO for 

  1. Log in to  as a  administrator.
  2. Select Window > Preferences.
  3. In the Remedy Single Sign-On for User Authentication section, select Enabled.
    By default,  is disabled.

  4. Click Apply and Close.
    SSO authentication is enabled.
  5. Enter the following settings in Centralized Configuration System (CCS) for the  to be identified as an -integrated server:

To find logging information

If a developer successfully logs in to , no logs are updated. However, if the developer does not log in successfully, you can find the exception stack trace in the .log file (the .log file does not have any file name) in the  workspace. The default location for the .log file is C:\Users\Administrator\DeveloperStudio\workspace\.metadata.

  1. In , select Window > Show View > Other.
  2. In the Show View dialog box, open the General folder.

  4. Click Open.
    The Error Log pane is displayed on the right.
