Types of distributed operations

With the add-on product  (), you can deploy  in a distributed architecture, with multiple  installed at different locations, each with its own database instance. This allows you to use each server independently, and since each server is located close to its user base, the users do not experience a network lag. This distributed setup can be used for serving a globally dispersed user base, and also for setting up a separate instance for backup or reporting purposes.
