Testing the Lunch Scheduler application with sample users

The  sample applications include records for a set of sample users that are preconfigured for testing the Lunch Scheduler application.

Licensing sample users

To activate sample users, an  administrator must enter them in the User form, with either a fixed or floating write license. Make sure you have purchased sufficient write licenses to create the sample users as actual accounts in your  database.

Alternatively, you can use existing licensed users with the sample applications. To do so, you must modify the data in the AP-Sample:Signature Authority form by replacing the sample login names with login names that already exist in your  User form.

Sample user approval authority

The sample application users are set up in a Parent-Child hierarchy. Each has a spending authority limit, as shown in the following figure. To follow the sample application procedures in this document, configure at least the users Frank Williams, Jack Miller, Larry Goldstein, and Violet Anderson. If you use your own existing  users, configure at least four users, one each with the signature authority values matching these four sample users.
