Selecting z-order for form objects
In , z-order defines the order in which multiple overlapping objects are placed on an form. Z-order provides application developers with greater layering options when working with multiple objects that overlap on a form.
Use the following icons on the toolbar to control of the z-order of fields in a form:
These icons perform the following actions, from left to right:
- Bring to Front—Moves an object to the front of the stack, so that it appears on top of all other objects
- Bring Forward—Moves an object one position forward in the stack
- Send to Back—Moves an object to the back of the stack, so that it is appears behind all other objects
- Send Backward—Moves an object one position backward in the stack
These options are also available from the Layout menu.
