AR System API issues and considerations

Keep the following points in mind when using the  API:

  • Using the  API requires expertise in C programming. It assumes a technical background and familiarity with the use of compilers.
  • The  is backward compatible, supporting all requests from applications that use the API libraries back to  3.2. If you continue to link to one of these libraries, you do not need to make any changes to continue running your existing programs against newer servers. If you link to a newer version of the  API libraries, you will probably need to make changes to your programs. The main program structure and processing, however, need not change.
