People

The People structure within the applications includes forms that are primarily accessed through the People form.

The main form (or parent form), People, is used to store an individual's contact information, their organization, and location structures information. Person data defines the data for users and non-users of your application. Application users require a login ID, permissions, and licenses, such as Employees, and they must belong to an organization. The non-users, such as Customer and Vendor, are people that work for your company or who would require services or render services to your organization.

People can be defined as support and non-support staff.

Support users are typical users of the application. They require a login ID, application permissions, and  licenses, and they must belong to at least one support group.

Non-support users are all other people that work for your company who would require services from your support groups.

Permissions and functional roles determine what people information can be viewed or modified by different users. For example, if you have the Contact People Admin permissions, you can change a person's company or contact information, but not that person's support group association.

Permissions groups are used to grant users access to applications, modules, and sub-components in the . An individual can be assigned to one or multiple permission groups.
