How authentication servers work with Migrator

Administrators can have greater control by verifying user authentication using an authentication server . With an authentication server,  checks to see if a user is a registered user. If a match is found, the user definition and permissions specified in the matching user record are used. If no match is found, the authentication is stopped and the user is treated as a guest user.

If authentication is not enabled in ,  cannot authenticate a user. For more information, see Setting-external-authentication-options.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
