Configuring the relevancy weight for fields in a multiple-form FTS

You can set the relevancy of items in search results so that fields with higher relevancy appear higher in the search results.

Use the FTS tab of the AR System Administration: Server Information form to configure the relevancy weights for:

  • Title field weight
  • Environment field weight
  • Keyword field weight

You can set a title field, environment, and keyword on each form. See Configuring-forms-for-multi-form-FTS.

You must re-index data so that any changes to the relevancy weights are applied to the existing data.


 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
