Defining and deploying data and object packages
You can perform the following tasks using Remedy Deployment Application:
- Accessing-the-AR-System-Deployment-Management-console
- Defining-a-package
- Defining-a-precheck-for-deploying-a-package
- Importing-and-exporting-a-package
- Validating-a-package
- Archiving-a-package
- Building-and-deploying-packages-by-using-the-CLI
To use the Remedy Deployment Application, You must have appropriate permissions. (See Remedy-Deployment-Application-roles-and-permissions.)

The Remedy Deployment Application plug-in provides the ability to:
- Import and export definitions and data
- Call the Analyzer module to validate that a package meets the required standard
- Add a checksum to the package if the package meets the package requirements
- Verify the checksum for a package
- Encapsulate the contents of a package into a single zip file
- Encapsulate the contents of a package from a single zip file
You must manually move these types of objects between environments:
- Groups
- Roles
- Distributed Pool
