E-Bonding Runbook Log Console


The E-Bonding Runbook Log Console provides centralized access to all E-Bonding Runbook logs. E-Bonding Runbook continuously writes the status of all transactions and messages, so that administrators can assess the condition of the platform live.
 The E-Bonding Runbook Log Console is thus also the central point for troubleshooting.
Access: To access the permission „BGI User" is necessary

E-Bonding Runbook Log Table

The "E-Bonding Runbook Log Table" shows all information that is available from the logging available.

The table field shows the following columns:

Name

Description

Create Date

Creation date of the log entry

Transaction ID

E-Bonding Runbook Header Information – Unique Transaction ID

Message ID

E-Bonding Runbook Header Information – Unique Message ID

Status Transaction

Status of the Transaction:

Status of the message:

Status Message Code

In case of an error this value references the E-Bonding Runbook error codes

Operation

E-Bonding Runbook Operation

Direction

IN = Partner to E-Bonding Runbook
OUT = E-Bonding Runbook to Partner

Modified Date

Last modified date of the log entry

Root Request ID

Unique ID of the ITSM tickets (e.g. Incident or Change Number)

Child Request ID

Unique ID of the ITSM sub ticket (e.g. Work Info or Task ID)

Partner ID

Unique ID of the E-Bonding Runbook Partners

Partner Ticket ID

Partner Ticket ID (for information)

For each selected table entry, the following information can be displayed (if available):

Name

Description

Status Message Text

Status description for messages with errors.


Search Filter

The "Search filter" is by default "collapsed". Clicking on the logo can open it.
In this area, the results of the log table using QBE Searches can be restricted. For this purpose, only the search term must be typed in the relevant field or selected via the menu.

The following actions can be performed in the "Search filter":

Name

Description

Search

Starts the search with the specified search criteria.

Clear

Clears all the search fields.


Resend Failed Messages

This section describes the function of the control button "Set Message(s) to Retry" available in the lower section of the form.
This button resets all message entries that have been selected in the Log table field.
Usage:

  1. Mark one or more ERROR messages
  2. Press the button

Result:

  1. The E-Bonding Runbook Log & TransactionDB entries will be changed to
    1. Transaction Status = OPEN
    2. Message Status = RETRY
  2. The E-Bonding Runbook system will collect all message in Status RETRY within the next Retry-Scheduler-Run and resend them to the partner system

Note:
Only those messages can be reset to E-Bonding Runbook status RETRY that are currently in E-Bonding Runbook status ERROR.
 Only OUT messages can be set to E-Bonding Runbook status RETRY.
