E-Bonding Runbook Logging


One of the advantages in using E-Bonding Runbook as a centralized BMC Remedy ITSM interface platform is a central and transparent logging functionality.
 E-Bonding Runbook defines multiple log status that are displayed in the E-Bonding Runbook Log Console and can be used for a central and efficient troubleshooting. The table below describes all log status for E-Bonding Runbook:

NEW

X

This status is used when a new E-Bonding Runbook operation is initiated.

VALIDATED

 

This status is used when the XSD validation of the E-Bonding Runbook operation content was successful.
(From version 2.0 on, the status is visible in the E-Bonding Runbook Transaction Database only due to performance optimization)

WORK IN PROGRESS

 

This status is used when the E-Bonding Runbook Transaction Engine is processing the operation.
(From version 2.0 on, the status is visible in the E-Bonding Runbook Transaction Database only due to performance optimization)

ENABLERCALLED

 

This status is used for E-Bonding Runbook outbound events only and states, that the partner specific outbound enabler has been called.
(From version 2.0 on, the status is visible in the E-Bonding Runbook Transaction Database only due to performance optimization)

CLOSED

This status is used when a new E-Bonding Runbook operation is completed successful.

ERROR

This status is used when a new E-Bonding Runbook operation is completed with errors.
(In this case, the log table displays a E-Bonding Runbook Error Code to support efficient trouble shooting)

RETRY

X

This status is used when the E-Bonding Runbook operation is scheduled for a retry. Based on the E-Bonding Runbook platform and partner configuration, the retry interval is calculated.

In addition, the logging can be disabled completely to support customer production readiness needs.
