Configuring Submitter mode

After installation is complete, you must perform the following procedure to enable users to update knowledge articles that they submitted, even if they don't have write permissions.

To configure Submitter mode

  1. In the BMC Remedy AR System Administration Console, go to the System> General > Server Information section
  2. In the Licenses tab, set Submitter Mode to Locked.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
