Troubleshooting authentication failures


This section provides information about troubleshooting an authentication failure when an incorrect password is entered to connect to BMC Remedy ITSM - Mobility server.

If you entered an incorrect password to connect to the BMC Remedy ITSM - Mobility server, following is what is logged into mobility.log file:

2012-02-21 14:58:20,186 ERROR [MobilityServerContextListener] - Failed to load AR Meta Data, Thread ID = 18

com.bmc.bsm.mobile.errorhandling.MobilityException: ERROR (623): Authentication failed;

To correct the BMC Remedy ITSM - Mobility server password, please use the following URL:

http://<mobility server name>:<web server port>/MobilityServer/admin/
