Using the Asset Management console
Use the Asset Management console to manage configuration items (CIs) within BMC Asset Management. This console is used by configuration administrators.

Tip
As you work with the forms and dialog boxes associated with this console and throughout BMC Asset Management, you might see a plus sign (+) included in a field label. You can type part of the information in these fields and press Enter. If an exact match is located, the application automatically completes the field. If a selection list appears, double-click the appropriate item. Using autofill fields and lists is faster, more consistent, and more accurate than typing the information.
