Creating a CI by using Explore CI gives an error


Issue symptom

In the Asset Management console, the following error message is displayed:

Error from Widget Instance not found.

Issue Scope

You click Explore CI to view the CI relationships.

Resolution

When you create a CI, ensure that you have access to the company selected in the Default Company list in Asset Management Settings. For more information, see Configuring BMC Asset Management settings.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
