Creating normalization jobs
Setup normalization jobs for the dataset. Click the Edit Job icon 
on the BMC Atrium Core console, to modify the settings for existing jobs.

BMC BladeLogic Client Automation (BBCA) ships with default Batch and Continuous jobs. The jobs can be run at scheduled start times or on demand the first time.

For other discovery vendors create the Normalization Engine (NE) job applicable to the dataset owned by the discovery source. This allows the NE job to identify which dataset to normalize. Create the new normalization job by clicking the Create Job icon 
on the BMC Atrium Core console.
