Gantt Chart for Fusion Agility Suite

This topic contains the steps on how the Gantt Chart is configured for Fusion Agility Suite. It also has the steps on how to view the same.

  1. The Gantt chart for the Fusion Agility Suite displays projects with their associations from Sprints to Project Tasks. This chart is deployed as part of the Fusion Agility Suite. Below are the properties described :

  2. The respective project ID is passed as an input variable.

  3. The color for the Root objects like Project, Project Task, and Sprint in the diagram are configured within the "Root Type - Console". The "Color" field is a link to the setting made in the "Root Type Console"

    Similarly, the status labels are related to the different Behavior IDs to allow custom configurations. The labels are created and adjusted by their own Root Status Views.

  4. The order is represented by the association "Root can have many Successors" and linked here. The styling section looks like the ITSM Gantt Chart.

    There is also the possibility to display debug information in the browser.

  5. Within "Hidden States" you can pass a JSON array, which defines which root objects should not be displayed in a certain state. Currently, objects in the status "Draft" and "Backlog" are hidden.

    The Custom Blade area is needed to open the different objects like Sprints, Project Task, and Projects from the Gantt Chart directly. They are linked in a JSON format like below:

    {
      "default":{
         "viewDefinitionName":null,
         "viewTitle":null
      },
      "Sprint":{
         "viewDefinitionName":"com.fusiongbs.agility:Sprint - Edit",
         "viewTitle":"Sprint Edit"
      },
      "Project Task":{
         "viewDefinitionName":"com.fusiongbs.agility:Project Task - Edit",
         "viewTitle":"Project Task Edit"
      },
      "Project":{
         "viewDefinitionName":"com.fusiongbs.agility:Project - Edit",
         "viewTitle":"Project Edit"
      }
    }
  6. With this configuration done for every Project created in Fusion Agility Suite, we can have a Gantt chart displayed. Gantt chart will be viewed once Project has Sprints and Tasks underneath. You can see the "Gantt Diagram" in every Project of Agility Suite. Gantt chart is a graphical depiction of a project schedule. It's is a type of bar chart that shows the start and finish dates of several elements of a project that include resources, milestones, tasks, and dependencies. The “View Gantt” link is displayed when the Project opens in detail mode. 7. Gantt chart helps in the project schedule and it also shows the relationships between activities and current schedule status. It also shows schedule conflicts.
  8. Simple corrections can also be done by dragging and dropping on the chart itself.
