Accepting or rejecting ideas

The Idea manager assigned to the idea, Portfolio Manager of the portfolio and Portfolio Masters can accept or reject ideas in the status Under Review after the analyse.

To accept an idea

1. Access the idea management console, in two ways:
   1. Log in to the Agility Suite application and navigate to Workspaces > Ideas.
   2. Log in to BMC Helix Digital Workplace and click the Idea tab.
2. To open an idea on the Ideas workspace, click the required idea ID. The idea must be in Under Review status to be accepted or rejected.
3. To accept the idea, click the Accept button on the idea details page. A new blade window displays where:
   • select or review the Portfolio to which the idea belongs.
   • classify the idea in the Idea Type field:
     
     • Requirement
     • Demand
4. The idea creates a new Requirement or Demand automatically.

To reject an idea

1. Access the idea management console, in two ways:
   1. Log in to the Agility Suite application and navigate to Workspaces > Ideas.
   2. Log in to BMC Helix Digital Workplace and click the Idea tab.
2. To open an idea on the Ideas workspace, click the required idea ID. The idea must be in Under Review status to be accepted or rejected.
3. To reject the idea, click the Reject button on the idea details page.
4. A new blade window displays appears:
   • select Status Reason:
     • Duplicate
     • No Business Justification
     • Not Relevant
   • explain the reasons for the rejection in the Rejection Reason field.
