    3. Scheduling
    4. Budget and source of funding
    5. Level of risk

Next Steps for Demand after Draft State

  • Demand contributor marks it as Requested, where contributor wants Demand Manager to start analyzing the Demand. This state of the Demand life cycle where Demand contributor and Manager both can work actively on the demand.
  • Demand Manager adds Requirements, Risk, Stakeholder, Resource once Demand is in Investigation state. Once Demand goes into Investigation stage, Demand Contributor cannot add, modify anything. His/her role ends once Demand goes into the Investigation stage.
  • Once all sub-entities are added Demand Manager puts Demand in Assessed State. This state is where Demand seeks approval from stakeholders and is in Waiting for Approval State.  The below screenshot shows where Demand is Waiting for Approval.
    image2021-6-9_11-54-43.png
  • Assigned stakeholder needs to check the Approval console and then Approve/Reject the Demand.  The below screenshot shows the Approval console where Demand is waiting for Approval.
    image2021-5-19_15-43-18.png
  • If Stakeholders approve the Demand, Demand goes in Approved State and a new Project or Portfolio is created and Project or Portfolio Life Cycle is followed. A new Portfolio is created, and Demand goes in the Completed state. Once Demand is Approved no further operations are allowed.
