BMC Data Center Automation 8.1

BSM for Data Center Automation is an initiative from BMC that provides modular solutions addressing value paths that focus on five areas of data center automation. Each value path consists of multiple elements that make up a roadmap to maturity. These value paths help you achieve an orderly, staged transition to data center automation, laying the foundation for further evolution to “cloud” data centers.

BMC Remedy ITSM 7.6.04

This version of BMC Remedy ITSM includes the following enhancements:

  • Usability improvements
  • Bulk updates in BMC Remedy Asset Management
  • The following BMC Remedy Change Management changes:
    • The Vendor Management feature is included in this release.
    • The Assignment fields in the Change Template have been updated to include all assignment fields, including Change Manager fields.
    • The Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 categorizations have been added to the Change and Release template forms.
    • The Atrium Impact Simulator user interface has been updated. Now, when opening Atrium Impact Simulator from BMC Remedy Change Management, workflow removes the Add CI or Remove CI buttons from the UI, because the input CI is already associated with the change request.
  • BMC Remedy Incident Management now enables you to close an incident request that has not yet reached the Resolved status.
  • The BMC Remedy User client is now supported only for data loads, configuration, and administration. For more information about data loads, see the Data Management Administration Guide.
