BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management Installation Planner requirements

This topic describes the minimum number of computers used for BSM Interoperability testing. This setup represents the minimum number of computers needed to enable BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management. More systems are required to enable the other solutions in the BSM Reference Stack.

Notes

  • A client computer from the same platform must be used to run the installation planner. That is, if the target computers are Linux, the client computer must be Linux, and if the target computers are Microsoft Windows, the client computer must be Windows.
  • BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management Data Collection Host (DCH) is available only on Windows. An additional Windows computer is required to deploy BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management if the installation planner was used to deploy Linux targets and you subsequently want to use the installation planner to deploy BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management on Windows.
