Installing transaction management applications

Perform the following steps to install BMC Transaction Management Application Response Time.

Warning

Note

When running BMC Transaction Management Application Response Time with Oracle, you must have a JDBC drive. For instructions on copying the JDBC driver, see KB article 20012576.

  1. On a Microsoft Windows 2008 computer with a Microsoft SQL Server database, install BMC Transaction Management Application Response Time Central Execution Server.
  2. On a separate Microsoft Windows 2008 server, perform the following actions:
    1. Install BMC Transaction Management Application Response Time Central Execution Server.
    2. Configure this Execution Server as an Alerting server.
  3. Set up BMC Transaction Management Application Response Time 3.9.00 integrations:
    1. Configure the integration with BMC Impact Manager.
    2. Configure the integration with BMC Atrium CMDB.
