Installing BMC Capacity Management Essentials

Perform the following steps to install BMC Capacity Management Essentials. This installation installs all BMC Capacity Management Essentials on one computer. BMC Capacity Management Essentials must be installed on a Microsoft Windows computer.

  1. Begin the installation as described in the "Installing the product" section of BMC Capacity Management Essentials Getting Started.
  2. When prompted, choose Capacity Management Essentials Administrator Console.
     The Capacity Management Essentials Administrator Console collects data from computers and populates that data into the Visualizer database that is shipped with the product.
    The console requires Microsoft .NET Framework version 3.0 or later.
  3. Configure the components as appropriate for your environment.
