Enhanced support for a hybrid SaaS environment

The following features are introduced to enhance support for a hybrid Software as a Service (SaaS) environment in which an event-monitoring application is available on premises, and an incident-management application is hosted in a SaaS environment.

Improved support for a hybrid SaaS environment

Using a web service as the primary integration mechanism enables BMC Service Resolution 3.0 to be more SaaS-friendly and effectively supports hybrid SaaS environment.

Using a web service, you can:

  • Create incidents from events generated from any source.
  • Achieve reliable and efficient integration between event-monitoring applications and incident-management applications such as BMC Remedy OnDemand and BMC Remedyforce.
