Changing the password for the csm_user user account
Only the default user account (csm_user) will work for the BMC Service Resolution integration with TrueSight Infrastructure Management. Each time you update the password for the csm_user user account, you need to update the password in BMC Service Resolution as well.
You need to ensure the password for the csm_user user account is the same in both Infrastructure Management and Service Resolution.
To change the password, perform the following steps:
Infrastructure Management:
- In the TrueSight, go to Administration > User Accounts.
- Select Manage via Atrium SSO.

- Change the password through the BMC Atrium SSO console.
BMC Service Resolution:
After you change the password for the csm_user user in the TrueSight console, run the following command on each Infrastructure Management Server integrated with Service Resolution:
pw ibrsd register -arhost <AR Server host name> -arport <AR Server port number> -arUser <AR Server user name> -arpwd <AR user password> -tsimpwd <Password for csm_user user><Password for csm_user user> is the password that you changed in the Atrium Single Sign-On console.
- Restart the BMC Remedy AR System Server.
