Approvals running on an iPhone device


This topic provides an overview of the main features that are available when running Approvals on an iPhone device.

  1. Launch the Approvals client.
  2. In the Server details screen, type the Mobility server name or the IP address and the port to to be used for the connection, for example, Company.m.onbmc.com and port 443).

  3. In the Login Details screen, type the BMC Remedy username and password.
  4. Tap Login.

  5. The Home page displays options for Show all, Show errors, Show pending, Show new, and Filter by Status.

  6. Tap Show All to display all the approvals.

  7. Tap any approval to display the details for it.

  8. Tap Actions to approve, reject or hold any approvals.

  9. Tap Reject to open a justification dialog asking why the the approval is being rejected.

  10. Click Edit to open an approval in edit mode, allowing you to approve or reject any approvals.

  11. If you reject an approval, then a a justification dialog is opened that asks why the the approval is being rejected.

  12. Tap Approvers to display a list of all the approvers associated with the approval.

  13. Tap Approver to display a list of all the assignees associated with the approval.

  14. Tap Filter by Status to filter the approvals.

  15. Tap Filter by Status to filter the approvals and create new option (Show Filtered) on the main menu.

  16. Tap Settings to list the options.
