iOS device requirements

The Apple iOS device requirements for operating system and memory are: 

  • The operating system must be iOS 4.4 or later.

    Note

    The native iOS client requires iOS 6.

  • The memory must be at least 8 GB.

The following iOS devices are supported, if they meet the above requirements:

  • iPhone 4 - supports both Incident Management and Approvals applications
  • iPhone 4S - supports both Incident Management and Approvals applications
  • iPhone 5 - supports both Incident Management and Approvals applications
  • iPad 2 - supports only the Incident Management application
  • iPad 3 - supports only the Incident Management application

Note

The BMC Remedy ITSM - Mobility: Service Desk 7.6.07  and 7.6.08 releases are identical. Use the 7.6.08 release only for downloads of the iPhone application from the Apple App Store.
