Creating, modifying and deleting profiles, applications or associated devices


You can use the Administration Console to create, modify and delete profiles and applications or devices associated with them. 

To create, modify and delete profiles and applications or associated devices

  1. Select the Applications tab.
  2. Select the Tenant.
  3. Select Profiles. A list of existing profiles appears in the left pane.
  4. To delete a profile, select the profile that you want to delete and click the red "-" icon.
  5. To add a profile, click the green "+" icon.
    1. In the right panel, type the Profile Name and Description.
    2. If you want the profile to be the Default Profile, then check the check box.
    3. Click Save.
  6. To change the name of a profile, select the profile in the left pane.
    1. Click Change.
    2. Change the name of the profile.
    3. Click Save.
  7. To change the description of a profile, select the profile in the left pane.
    1. Change the description of the profile.
    2. Click Save.
  8. To make a profile the Default profile, select the current Default profile.
    1. Uncheck the *Default Profile check box.
    2. Click Save.
    3. Select the profile that you want to be the Default profile.
    4. Check the *Default Profile check box.
    5. Click Save.
  9. To add an application to a profile, select the profile in the left pane.
    1. Go to the applications section.
    2. Select an application from the menu.
    3. Click the green "+" button.
  10. To remove an application from a profile, select the profile in the left pane.
    1. Go to the applications section.
    2. Select an application from the list.
    3. Click the red "-" button.
  11. To add an device to a profile, select the profile in the left pane.
    1. Go to the applications section.
    2. Select a device from the menu. (If All Devices is chosen for the profile device, then all devices are allowed to use the mobility platform.)
    3. Click the green "+" button.
  12. To remove a device from a profile, select the profile in the left pane.
    1. Go to the applications section.
    2. Select a device from the list.
    3. Click the red "-" button.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
