Distributing applications to Android devices

This topic provides information for administrators who need to distribute BMC Remedy ITSM - Mobility: Service Desk applications to Android devices.

To distribute applications over the air

  1. Unzip the ClientDistribution.zip file that you received from BMC to create the ClientDistribution folder.
  2. For the Incident Management application, perform the following actions:
    1. Under the IncidentsMobile folder, go to the android folder.
    2. Use the IncidentsMobile.apk file for distribution.
  3. For the Approvals application, perform the following actions:
    1. Under the ApprovalsMobile folder, go to the android folder.
    2. Use the ApprovalsMobile.apk file for distribution.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
