PATROL Agent configuration variables for Windows Azure

The configuration variables for BMC PATROL for Windows Azure described in the following table are variables that are set in the PATROL Agent. You can use either the pconfig utility or PATROL Configuration Manager to manage them.

The following are the definitions of the placeholders that are used in the preceding table:

  • AZURE_ACCOUNT_NAME: Name of the Azure account that is monitored by BMC PATROL for Windows Azure
  • DEPLOY_ID: Deployment ID
  • ROLE_LABEL: Label for a role
  • ROLE_INST_LABEL: Label of a role instance
  • DNS_PREFIX: DNS prefix for a hosted service
