Service Pack 3 (8.1.03)

This section contains information about about enhancements in version 8.1.03 of the BMC IT Business Management product.

BMC IT Business Management 8.1.03 comprises the following enhancements:

• Integration with the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On: Starting from the version 8.1.03, the BMC IT Business Management supports integration with the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On 8.8.
• Ability to change the assigned job category: you can change the job category that already has the assigned items like the Client, Link, or Attachment. For more information, see Changing-the-assigned-job-category.
• New configuration parameters were added:
  • TIME_CARD_HIDE_CANCELLED_AND_COMPLETED_PROJECTS to prohibit time tracking for the closed projects.
  • TIME_CARD_HIDE_RETIRED_IT_SERVICES to prohibit time tracking for the retired IT services.

• Ability to edit the submitted resource request: the project manager can change the request dates and estimated work hours without deleting the old resource request and creating a new one. For more information, see Requesting resources for a project task .
