Cost model scenario

A cost model scenario is a set of cost models that are grouped by time and purpose, which enables you to assess impact of changes in resource costs, quantities and allocations for a service cost model(s). You can design each cost model scenario to include cost models, cost elements, relationship between the elements, cost and price information. Consequently, you can develop cost model scenarios for all of IT or a specified group of departments within IT. You can modify, compare, and analyze the cost model scenarios. You can use cost model scenarios to perform what-if analysis of all data related to the set of cost models constituting a scenario.

You can either create a new cost model scenario or copy an existing cost model scenario. A copy of the cost model scenario is completely independent of the existing cost model scenario and you can manage it as per your requirements. Similarly all cost elements of the new copy of the cost model scenario are independent of the cost elements of the existing cost model scenario.
