Selecting portlets to display

Use the procedure in this topic to select which portlets to display and the order in which they are displayed.

To specify the portlets to display

1. In the main pane of your Home page, under the My Page tab, click Personalize Page.
    The Edit Tab: My Page window appears, as shown in the following figure:
   
   
   
   The lists on this window correspond to the layout on your Home page, as follows:

   • Available Content lists the portlets that are available to you. 

     Warning

     Note

     If the portlet name is followed by (s), the portlet enables only a single instance, and it will disappear from Available Content when you select it for display.

   • Left Column (1) lists the portlets that are currently displayed in the left column on your Home page.
   • Right Column (2) lists the portlets that are currently displayed in the right column on your Home page.
2. Edit the layout of your Home page by moving the portlets on this window, as follows:
   1. To add a new portlet to your Home page, select the portlet from Available Content and click the right arrow on the right of the column in which you want to place it.
   2. To change the position of the portlet in its column, select the portlet and click the up or down arrow on the right of the column.
   3. To move a portlet from one column to the other, select the portlet and click the arrow on the right of that column that points in the direction that you want to move the portlet.
   4. To remove a portlet from your Home page, select it and click X on the right of the column.
3. Click Save.
4. After you have selected the portlets to display, you can modify the display as follows:
   • To collapse or expand a portlet, click the restore or minimize button in the portlet title bar.
   • To quickly delete a portlet from your Home page, click X in the portlet title bar.
