To add an operational change request to a Project

3. From the Template menu, select a template to use.
   A change templates provides a way to quickly and efficiently create standard change requests with a minimum of mouse clicks and key strokes in BMC Remedy Change Management application. When you select a template, some of the fields in this window are populated according to the values specified in the template.

   For more information about configuring change templates, see the Change templates.
   If you do not create or use templates for the changes initiated in BMC IT Business Management Suite, the software provides an option, auto assignment, to use the assignment routing set in BMC Remedy Change Management application. In BMC Remedy Change Management application you can configure assignment routing so that the system automatically assigns change requests to the appropriate support group.
   For more information about setting assignment routing or disabling the use of assignment routing, see Creating assignment routing in a standard configuration.

    The new change is displayed in the change request list in the Operational Change Request tab in the Project Details window. The operational change request is automatically created in BMC Remedy Change Management System.
    The software automatically creates a project task corresponding to the change request.
