When you initially create the schedule for a Project, you can enter the dates for each milestone or import the dates from Microsoft Project. Task dates can also be imported from Microsoft Project. As the Project progresses, you can track the actual dates, compare them to the planned dates, and, if necessary, modify the planned dates. Additionally, the schedule health is an important indicator of a Project's successful outcome, and keeping track of the schedule health gives you the opportunity for early intervention. is configured, an alert may be sent if a Project milestone date or the committed delivery date is missed. All dates appear in the schedule in the format that is appropriate for the locale you selected in Preferences on your Home page.
