Managing approvals of a business case

Short description for the concept topic. An administrative-level user can add one or more approval gates to the business case review lifecyle template. Each approval gate is the checkpoint for all the steps that precede it. You cannot generate approvals until all the previous steps have been designated as completed by a check mark in the corresponding Done check box. In addition to the default project approvers who are defined based on the project lifecycle template selected, you can select additional individual approvers at each approval gate.

If your business case review lifecycle template does not contain an approval option, the review lifecycle is complete once all review lifecycle stages are marked as Done.
If a business case is approved, you can promote the business case to one or more new projects in

If a business case is rejected, the state of the project is set to Rejected in
