Designating clients as inactive


You cannot completely delete a client from the BMC IT Business Management Suite. However, you can make the client record inactive. This action could be necessary, for example, when a single client has duplicate records because client information was both manually added to the system and later imported from the HR database or another database.

To designate clients as inactive

In the Edit Client window, clear the Active check box.

An inactive client is no longer available in lists. However, the Foundation Pillars or projects previously associated with this client continue to show the previous association.
