Editing assets

If you are a member of a group with the appropriate permissions, you can edit or delete the existing asset, and you can create a new asset.

To edit an asset

  1. In the Asset Details window or on the corresponding row in the Actions column of the Assets window, click Edit.
    The Edit Asset window appears. It contains the same fields as the New Asset window. This window also displays the system-generated ID for this asset, which cannot be edited.

    Warning

    The macro unmigrated-inline-wiki-markup from Confluence is no longer available.

  2. Edit the information in any available fields. For information about these fields, see Creating assets.
  3. To save your changes and exit the Edit Asset window, click Save and New or Save and Done.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
