Creating assets
To create an asset
In the Assets window or in the Asset Details window, click New. The New Asset window appears.
Click on the following image to expand it.
- Type a unique name for the asset in the Name field.
Enter as much of the additional information as you have available.
Clicking Edit next to any field launches the chooser for that field. Use the chooser to create relationships between the asset and the other BMC Foundation objects you select. Click Save in each chooser to save your selections and close the chooser.

Specifies the location of the asset.

- To save all the information you entered and display a blank New Asset window to create another asset, click Save and New.
- When you have finished creating assets, click Save and Done to save your changes and exit the New Asset window.
The Asset Details window appears for the last asset you created.
