Setting up the database server to manually update version 3.8.x to  7.6.03

The first step after you have copied the product files to your computer is to set up the database server.

To set up the database server for Oracle

1. Log on to SQL Plus as a database administrator and run the following command:
   grant create table tobmc_user;
   bmc_user is the name of the BMC Remedy AR System database schema user (default: ARADMIN).
