Foundation components logs

BMC Remedy Foundation is a required component for BMC IT Business Management Suite. The BMC IT Business Management Suite installation program supports BMC Remedy Foundation version 7.6.03 and later.

If you do not have BMC Remedy Foundation installed, the installation program installs the 7.6.03 version of BMC Remedy Foundation. If the installation program finds an existing version of BMC Remedy Foundation that is earlier than 7.6.03, the program generates an error and you are required to upgrade the BMC remedy Foundation to a later version.

Note

Although the installation program supports multiple version of BMC Remedy Foundation (versions later than 7.6.03), the installation program installs only version 7.6.03.

The BMC IT Business Management Suite installation program creates the following log files for foundation components:

  • BMCRemedyCommonFoundation
  • BMCRemedyApplicationFoundation
