Permissions for integrating with the BMC Change Management application

To initiate changes or link to changes from BMC IT Business Management Suite, a user requires permission groups for both BMC IT Business Management Suite and the BMC Change Management application. Similarly, to view project details from BMC Change Management, a user requires BMC IT Business Management Suite project-related permissions in addition to the BMC Change Management permissions.

Note

The permissions work in conjunction with support group affiliations. For example, users with Infrastructure Change User permission can create and edit changes for the support group to which they belong.

The following table lists the permissions that you can set for BMC IT Business Management Suite users to initiate or link to a change and specifies whether the user needs a BMC Remedy AR System license as well:
