Selecting the tenancy mode

The value that you select in the Tenancy Mode field on the System Settings form determines whether the Company field on the logon form defaults to a single company or presents a list of available companies from which to select. BMC Remedy AR System is installed with Tenancy Mode set to Multi-Tenancy. If you have changed this field to Single-Tenancy, complete the following procedure to change the value to Multi-Tenancy.

Note

In the BMC IT Business Management Suite applications, the multi-tenancy feature is always available. Regardless of the Tenancy Mode value in BMC Remedy AR System, data is segregated by company and access to data is controlled by a user's access to a company. For more information, see Data access restrictions.

To set the tenancy mode to multi-tenancy
